Advent Day 14

The 25 Days of Christmas
Day 14
(A [brief] photo story)

So today we had to go to the doctor's office to get 3 more vaccinations for Anderson.  As you know from the previous post, we made Christmas cookies last night at Pa and Luvie's house.  So today our advent envelop told us to "share our Christmas cookies with someone else".  Well, that sounds simple enough doesn't it, or does it?  On our drive home last night the diaper bag fell on the tray of cookies.  I didn't even give it another thought until this morning when we were about to walk out the door and instead of having an adorable tray filled with Christmas trees and reindeer- it looked like Hurricane Sandy and a group of poachers had stopped by.  There Christmas tree and reindeer parts every where.  And only about 10 whole cookies!  So instead of displayed on a cute tray they got parceled into ziplock bags and those were placed in a green gift bag.  Well, we gave the first bag to the ladies at the reception desk and they were really appreciative. But then we had to wait far a while before being seen by the nurse.  And by the time we were called back, Anderson was having so much fun in the doctor's office play room that he didn't want to get to the visitation room.  In an attempt to get him to come with me without a scene, I asked him to help me carry the bag of cookies (fragile cookies).  Big mistake.  He quickly shook bag and then somehow slammed it against a wall.  I gave them to the nurse with a half-smile and said, "He helped cook these for you."  Oh, well.  That's just how it goes sometimes.
